Our Story

The Beginning

My love of cats started when I was 3 years old, and I got to pick my first kitten from my grandparents' farm. I picked what my family members said was the meanest and ugliest kitten of the litter. Lol! But I loved my "ugly" orange tabby that I named McDonald, and he loved me back. We were inseparable for the next 8 years. He looked out for me as I did the same for him.

Ever since McDonald my love of cats has only grown.

It was 15 years ago while I was working at an animal research lab that my mother, who also breeds ragdolls, introduced me to the ragdoll breed. I fell in love with the ragdoll breed almost instantly. But who wouldn't fall in love with these sweet and fluffy cats?

My Experience

For over a decade I worked in a research lab learning the ins and outs about animal science. From cats and dogs to monkeys (NHP) and pigs (swine) I excelled in learning animal behavior, Veterinary care and procedures, surgical procedures, in vivo research, reproductive research, and training employees on proper animal husbandry, basic Verterinary care, and animal behavior and handling. I was even given the nickname cat and dog whisper because of my ability to work with and to calm overly aggressive or scared animals. Especially cats and dogs.

A Family Business

In 2020 when COVID hit I decided it was time for a change and in 2021 started breeding ragdolls with my mother who at the time had been breeding Ragdolls for almost 15 years. My mother has always been an inspiration to me. In the 3 years I worked with my mother I learned so much from about the ends and outs of the ragdoll business.

Now after 3 years breeding ragdolls with my mother and her possi Returning, I've branched out, and with the help of my daughter we have started our own ragdoll business in February 2024, Kingdom Ragdolls.

and the family tradition continue.

Our Queens & Kings

The Queens

Athena Bean

Athena Bean is a Cinnamon Mitted Solid (Tuxedo) and the Queen bee in the Kingdom. She produces beautiful Chocolate and Black, mitted, solid, and bicolor Ragdoll babies. She's a great mother to her kittens, and very protective of them.

When she's not caring for a litter of kittens or being the boss of the house she loves to lounge around near a window.

She had her 9th litter recently and will most likely be retiring after her next and tenth litter.

Maxine Millie

Maxine Millie is a Black Lynx Ragdoll. There is no other momma in the Kingdom that cares for and protects her kittens quite like Maxine does. Her kittens are always so beautiful and sweet. Maxine was a very shy Ragdoll when she came to us, but shes come out of her shell and become a very sweet and loving part of our family.

Butters

Butters is a Seal Point Mitted Mink. She is the daughter of our first and now retired TICA registered breeder, Gracey Jade. Butters is also my daughter's favorite cat. Butters follows her everywhere.

Ahsoka

Ahsoka is a Chocolate Solid Bicolor Ragdoll. Ahsoka is a wonderful young mother who fiercely protective of her kittens. She is the daughter of Athena Bean.
